welded blade stabilizers, integral blade stabilizers, downhole drilling tools

Composite rod utilizes a non-ferrous matrix to suspend the carbide. It is the best known hardfacing and is used in formations which are soft to medium in hardness. It is best suited to welded blade stabilizers.   X-tra Life is Reamco's premier hardfacing which suspends fine tungsten carbide pellets or crushed material in a hard, ferrous matrix. The matrix itself will attain a hardness of approximately 45 Rc and is completely saturated with carbide.

TCI (Tungsten Carbide Inserts) is another hardfacing which lends itself to hard abrasive drilling. Although it is declining in use in some areas due to being replaced by superior hardfacings, Reamco still offers it.   Geothermal hardfacing utilizes tungsten carbide bricks which are brazed to the stabilizer blade and surrounded by tungsten impregnated composite rod. And excellent hardfacing for hard, abrasive drilling.
